Al Quranic Park: The Glass House and Miracle Cave

For just AED 5 each, Al Quranic Park invites you to witness nature and faith intertwine, offering a journey that’s as breathtaking as it is profound – where every leaf whisper poetry, and every shadow tells a story.

Al Quranic Park

Nestled in Dubai’s Al Khawaneej district, Al Quranic Park is a 60-hectare sanctuary that celebrates the Holy Quran’s teachings through nature, technology, and immersive storytelling. Since its opening in 2019, this cultural gem has drawn visitors with its unique attractions, notably the Glass House and the Cave of Miracles. Till the date, the park continues to offer an enriching blend of Islamic heritage and modern innovation, making it a must-visit destination in the UAE.

The Glass House in Al Quranic Park

The Glass House, or Greenhouse, is a climate-controlled marvel showcasing 29 plant species mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, such as olives, pomegranates, figs, bananas, wheat, and basil. This lush exhibit highlights the spiritual, medicinal, and ecological significance of these plants, with bilingual signage (Arabic and English) providing Quranic references and practical uses. A spiral ramp leads to an observation deck offering sweeping views of the greenery, while a small shop sells seeds and saplings for visitors to take home.

Solar-powered trees, inspired by Islamic calligraphy, provide sustainable energy to regulate the Glass House’s environment, blending tradition with eco-conscious design. Smart irrigation and misting systems ensure the plants thrive in Dubai’s desert climate, creating a tranquil oasis that educates and inspires.

Ticket Price for the Glass House: AED 5 per person (payable via NOL card). Children under six and People of Determination enter free.

The Cave of Miracles in Al Quranic Park

The Cave of Miracles, an artificial cavern, brings seven Quranic miracles to life through holograms, 3D mapping projectors, and vivid video displays. Visitors journey through stories like Prophet Musa (Moses) parting the sea, Prophet Isa (Jesus) shaping a bird from clay, and Prophet Ibrahim’s revival of birds, narrated in Arabic (with English translations in development). A guide leads groups along a winding path lined with stalactites and carved seating, enhancing the immersive experience.

This high-tech exhibit not only captivates but also educates, offering a modern lens on ancient divine wonders. An introductory video about the Quran sets the tone, making the cave a reflective space for all ages.

A Unified Vision of Education and Tolerance

Launched during the UAE’s 2019 Year of Tolerance, Al Quranic Park promotes cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of Islamic values. While entry to the park itself is free, the Glass House and Cave of Miracles each require a modest AED 5 ticket, ensuring accessibility. The park also features twelve orchards of Quranic plants, a split lake symbolizing Prophet Musa’s miracle, and solar trees offering shade, Wi-Fi, and charging stations—perfect for a day of learning and relaxation.

How to Reach Al Quranic Park?

Located near Mushrif Park, Al Quranic Park is accessible via Al Khawaneej Road (D89) and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street (D54). It operates daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, with the Glass House and Cave of Miracles open from 9 AM to 9 PM (Saturday to Thursday).
