Dubai is Vibey…..:)
Because most of the time, something is always happening here.
A new café opens.
A celebrity lands in the city.
A hidden spot suddenly goes viral.
A random road closes for no reason.
A massive event takes over the weekend.
And somehow… everybody already knows about it except you. That’s exactly why The Dubai Street exists.
Not like another news website.
And definitely not to post robotic articles nobody actually wants to read, this is a place just for you and me!
The Dubai Street was created for people who genuinely want to know what’s happening in Dubai – No ads, so not 100% for revenue-driven, it’s just passion-driven… Laid bricks one by one, with the hope that one day it will be a castle!
About the Person Behind This
I’m Sunita KS, and I’m a blogger. A Digital Marketing Specialist. A Dubai resident. Someone who’s been navigating this city’s constant upgrades for years, working in digital marketing. Just trying to stay on top of what’s happening in the city I call home.
Sometimes I’m rushy, trying to get everything out faster. Sometimes I’m lazy, taking a break because life happens. I’m inconsistent, but I’m real. And I built this because I needed somewhere that actually makes UAE news and updates clear—without the fluff, without the confusion, without making me read five paragraphs to find one useful sentence.
So yeah, that’s me. That’s us. That’s The Dubai Street.
So… What Exactly Is The Dubai Street?
Think of it like your Dubai friend who’s always updated.
The one who knows:
where the new trending spot is
what event is worth going to
what’s happening in the UAE right now
which places are overrated
which hidden gems deserve hype
and what people are actually talking about
That’s the vibe.
Why We Started This
Honestly? NO ANSWER… Just figuring out. You may think “No Vision or No Mission”, sorry to say, but exactly this is where it is.
Based on the support you give, the mission and vision will be drafted soon!
Simple as that.
The Energy Behind This Website
The Dubai Street is built by people who actually live here in Dubai, looking to explore Dubai, try random cafés here, attend events here, and experience Dubai in real life.
We are writing right here from Dubai, the heart of the city, not from an office somewhere pretending to know the city.
Dubai has a mixed personality and a balanced vibe, and we wanted this website to reflect all of that.
From Where It Started
Okay, real talk: You’ve probably scrolled through 10 different UAE news posts today. Half are outdated. Half are confusing. And none of them actually answered your question about what’s happening in the UAE.
Yeah, we’ve all been there.
The Dubai Street exists because that situation is kinda unacceptable.
But also… let me be real with you: I’m not the most consistent person.
Basically? I’m kind of like you.
This isn’t some corporate media beast that noticed “oh cool, UAE news is trending” and threw a website together. Nope.
This started with someone who actually lives here.
Someone who got frustrated trying to figure out:
What’s the actual process for that freelance permit everyone’s talking about?
Is the places to visit is a real or just Reddit hype?
How do I find the parking spot in Dubai without getting lost in 47 different government pages?
And this? This is The Dubai Street – Your go-to guide!
So whether you’re a resident, tourist, creator, foodie, explorer, student, entrepreneur, or someone who just randomly ended up here to find the best spot to spend time with your loved ones…
Welcome to The Dubai Street – You’re officially part of the vibe now.
The Dubai Street was born out of my passion for storytelling and a deep love for Dubai’s diverse culture and landscapes. I am always inspired by the city’s relentless energy and growth, set out to create a platform that would capture the essence of Dubai’s ever-changing narrative. From the bustling streets of Deira to the futuristic skyline of Downtown Dubai, I always aim to share the stories, including Breaking News in Dubai, Gulf News, Things to do in Dubai etc., that make this city so unique.
The Dubai Street – Mission
As stated above, no proper vision & mission. But still somewhere my heart says:
Mission: Inspired by Khaleej Times, we wish to become the leading online source for breaking news and travel insights in Dubai, fostering a community that celebrates the city’s diversity and dynamism.
