Dubai, UAE – February 26, 2025 – Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced free Salik toll rates and public parking fees during the holy month of Ramadan in 2025, aiming to accommodate the altered schedules and needs of residents and visitors.

Salik Toll Rates During Ramadan

The Salik toll system will implement variable pricing throughout Ramadan:

  • Weekday Peak Hours (Monday to Saturday): Dh6 from 9am to 5pm.
  • Weekday Off-Peak Hours: Dh4 from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 2am the following day.
  • Late Night Hours: No toll charges between 2am and 7am, Monday through Saturday.
  • Sundays: A flat rate of Dh4 applies from 7am to 2am; toll-free from 2am to 7am.

These adjustments are designed to align with the unique daily routines observed during Ramadan.

Public Parking Fees During Ramadan

The RTA will also modify public parking fees to better suit the community’s needs during the holy month:

  • Morning Peak Hours: Dh6 per hour for premium parking spaces and Dh4 per hour for other public paid parking spaces from 8am to 10am.
  • Evening Peak Hours: Same rates apply from 4pm to 8pm.
  • Off-Peak Hours: Tariffs remain unchanged from 10am to 4pm and 8pm to 10pm.
  • Night time: Parking is free from 10pm to 8am.
  • Sundays: Parking is free all day.

These changes are part of the Variable Parking Tariff Policy, scheduled for implementation by the end of March 2025, aiming to provide flexible parking solutions during varying demand periods.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan their commutes and parking accordingly to take advantage of these adjusted rates during Ramadan.
